Some of these can kill both fleas and ticks. Your vet will also recommend several things like cleaning up your surroundings and give you tips on how to get these little critters.

There are a few things you can do to get rid of the fleas in your house. You basically just need to vacuum your furniture, carpets, and other possible breeding locations on a regular basis. There is no need for a special vacuum, so your trusty old vacuum will do the job. You’ll be ridding yourself of adult fleas, eggs, pupae, and eggs.
Another tool in effective flea control is to use a flea trap. You can set them up after you’re done vacuuming your home. Place them where the fleas were generally found. You can monitor how many fleas each trap can catch. This will help you figure if you still have an infestation or if more work needs to be done in certain places.
